Reynold Villarreal, Sponsored by the McAllen Rotary Club, has arrived safely in Northern Thailand hosted by District 3360. He will be learning the Thai culture and language. He will return in June 2009.

President Marti Brewerton of the Edinburg club led her group with President-Elect Elisa Longoria and several other Rotarians and family members joined together with Habitat for Humanity for a day of community service, the Rotarians and family members brought out their paint cloths to help put some fresh paint on this home in addition to donating $6,000 cash to help a dream come true for a family in need.

Speaking is Elsa Gonzalez (Rotex from McAllen) she was an exchange student to Taiwan in 2005-06 and now she helps train our new students interested in becoming an exchange student. Sitting is Mario Gonzalez future exchange student to Austria sponsored by the Mission Club.

Jim Deuser is speaking with the exchange students and parents on how students in this program can change the hearts and minds of our families by historical events that have impacted our lives at the El Rocio Retreat on May 25, 2008.
